Around September last year (2023) as Urbanistas Rotterdam we have been asked to write an review of ‘Smooth City’ for ArchiNed. After our first article called “Ontwerper en de Smooth City” we have been asked to write more about possible alternatives. In order to do that in more inclusive way and gather more points of view, we have organised public discussion Expo #18: Exploring the antidote to the 'Smooth City'. After that we have also taken our finding to debate event at Kiosk, with René Boer and Kees de Klein. Additionally, these insights will turn into another article for ArchiNed and further discussions with the Urbanistas.
